Brief
A tug in dry dock is a fixed window. Everything below the waterline has to come apart, be measured, be put right and go back together before the dock is needed again.
Approach
- Strip the shaft line: servo motors, main and blade shaft seals, gearboxes.
- Overhaul the hydraulic system with its valves, gear pumps and pipelines.
- Carry out hull work in the same window: blasting, anode renewal, paint to ISO scheme.
- Reassemble and hand the vessel back.

How this was run
The same seven stages carried this project as carry every requirement here, from the first enquiry through to support after handover. Select a stage to see what happens in it.
You send what you have
A drawing, a photograph of the part, or a description of the fault. Any one of the three is enough to start. Requirements here arrive that way far more often than as a product order.
Hands over: Drawing, photograph or fault report
Stage 1 of 7. Every stage happens on every job; how long each takes is what changes.
